There are no refreshments available.
Dogs are not admitted, other than trained accessibility dogs, nor for reasons of animal welfare may they be left in parked cars.
With the exception of the National Gardens Scheme Open Day, picnics are not permitted in the gardens.
Please follow the signs for parking. Disabled parking will be available by the Maze for Blue Badge holders.

BY ROAD
Chevening is situated just inside the M25 at Junction 5.
Travelling Westbound (clockwise) from Dartford Tunnel
- At Junction 4 follow the exit road for 1 mile.
- Take the first turning on the roundabout signed “A224 Badgers Mount/Dunton Green”.
- Follow the A224 for 3.3 miles.
- Continue straight over the roundabout joining the B2211 “Sundridge” for 1 mile.
- At the crossroads turn right into Chevening Road marked “Chevening Church. No Through Road”.
- Past Church to Main Gate
Travelling Eastbound towards Dartford Tunnel
- At Junction 5 follow M26 (do not branch left onto M25).
- Take first exit (400 yards along M26) marked “A21 Sevenoaks, Hastings”.
- After ½ mile on A21 take first slip road marked “A25 Sevenoaks, Riverhead”.
- After 50 yards turn sharp left “Chipstead ½ mile”.
- At first road junction in Chipstead, fork left into Chevening Road.
- Road takes you over the M25 to crossroads.
- Straight over crossroads marked “Chevening Church. No Through Road”.
- Past Church to Main Gate
Travelling Westbound on M20/M26
Note: There is no exit from the M26 southbound at Sevenoaks
- Leave M26 at Junction 2a.
- At first exit on roundabout, turn right onto A25. Follow A25 to Riverhead.
- At Riverhead roundabout, follow road marked “A25 Westerham, A21 Hastings”.
- After 1 mile the road becomes dual carriageway.
- Turn right towards “Chipstead”.
- At first road junction in Chipstead, fork left into Chevening Road.
- Road takes you over the M25 to crossroads.
- Straight over crossroads marked “Chevening Church. No Through Road”.
- Past Church to Main Gate
